CIRL Softball - 1st and 2nd Grade Girls
CIRL Softball is a program for girls completing 1st-2nd grade to work on fundamental softball skills. Girls will be placed on teams coached by parent volunteers. Players will hit coach-pitched balls and off of a tee. Practices as well as games will be scheduled throughout the season. Travel is required. Volunteer parents are needed to help coach teams. For organizational purposes only two coaches will be allowed on the roster. After teams are organized additional coaches may be added. Players will need their own glove, fielder face mask, and softball pants-color to be decided.
Dates: April through June

CIRL Softball - 3rd/4th and 5th/6th Grade Girls
CIRL Softball is a program for girls completing 3rd grade through 6th grade. Players will receive hitting and pitching practice along with other field work. Teams will play evening games against surrounding area teams in the Central Iowa Recreation League (CIRL). Traveling required. Volunteer parents are needed to help coach teams. For organizational purposes only two coaches will be allowed on the roster. After teams are organized additional coaches may be added. Players will need their own glove, fielder face mask, cleats and softball pants-color to be decided.
When: Practices will be scheduled by coaches in late March
Dates:
Regular season: March through June 10th.
Games for 3/4 graders: Mondays and Thursdays
Games for 5/6 graders: Tuesdays and Fridays
Optional post season play week of June 10th
